I read your comments about cash vs. credit price reporting on Occams Hammer's whiteboard. I've been battling with other GB's in my area who insist on reporting the lower price. Here in Los Angeles, we have stations that discount prices for different reasons, such as, stations with attached automatic car washes, using the Oil Co. (ie. Shell, ARCO) credit card and of course cash. I wish people would just read the FAQ's(at least in the L.A. area GB it is stated very clearly, not every driver can take advantage of the discount. In the retail business they call that pricing a loss leader. I'm constantly going behind some other GB users in my and changing their cash prices to the credit.
