FYI.......Global warming skeptic and meteorologist Anthony Watts released a scientific discussion paper July of this year, that crushes the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's "global warming" data claims. The study concluded that "reported 1979-2008 U.S. temperature trends are spuriously doubled, with 92% of that over-estimation resulting from erroneous NOAA adjustments of well-sited stations upward."Don't believe me read his research paper.

gaswatchON - I wasn't defending the high prices at the pumps. Just stating the facts. You're right that the station operators raise their prices at the pumps when the oil price goes up - whether the delivered price of the gas to their station goes up or not. Yes, they are working the system. The cost of the gas delivered to their stations goes down and they don't lower the prices at the pumps. So, gaswatchON, your point is well taken. Station owners that say that they are only making a few pennies per gal of profit at the pumps are liars!
