I can only shake my head. How much did BP "donate" to get this opportunity of good will? BP's role in the curriculum is equivalent to having a Neo Nazi help with a curriculum for the Holocaust.

As it seems painfully clear, we have lost our democracy. This country has become the United Corporations of America. Both political parties are bought by these corporations. No politician it seems will pass any law or regulation that doesn't contain massive loopholes for these corporations to slip through. Public safety has become a charade.

Why don't BP executives take the K-12 courses? BP execs created a culture that disregarded the environment.

Being able to participate must be quite a feather in their cap. I'm sure that the people from 'Media Relations' relished the opportunity.

One doesn't need to practice what they preach. Who better to know what's required than they who skirt or break the rules.

Brilliant. And while we're at it, let's invite the Mafia to write law enforcement curriculum.
