LM1: can you explain your logic? Btw, the US exports not oil, but refined products, such as gasoline.

LEC: proves the point that some folks make here: ppl don't read past the headline (or just read the top one or two comments that others made).

"A United States hopelessly dependent on imported oil and natural gas is a thing of the past."
What a crock that is! We're shipping out more oil and that makes us more dependent on imported oil once again. I hate those liars.

As in 2005-2006, natural gas was out of sight above $8.00. It is called supply and demand!

One of the surest ways to lower the cost of gasoline products (as well as other consumer goods) would be to:
1) Abolish the Federal Reserve, 2) End the EPA, 3) Run our government as outlined in the Constitution.

And natural gas prices are on their way up as GREED strikes that industry.

This article is talking about natural gas, prices are not too high for gas as opposed to gasoline. Some readers seem to confuse the two, they are not interchangeable.

Don't know where the rest of the article is. Not to worry. We will continue to import oil at least until a few years after Obozo is just an unpleasant memory.
